1952 MG TD

Beautiful car inside and out. It has won many trophies in the past at local car shows, but even though it still looks amazing, it would probably not take a first place now. It is an older restoration, but still looks and runs great. The engine and transmission were professionally rebuilt at the time of the restoration and have had very low annual miles on them since. The car was taken completly apart and all the body work was done with no bondo. It was painted in 28 seperate pieces, then reassembled. All the chrome was re-plated and the wheels powder coated. Most of the replacement parts came from Moss Motors. It is actually the Jaguar green from about the 1980s era, a little darker than the traditional BRG. The interior is all black leather with black carpet. The dashboard is the original with a burlwood veneer that looks very nice. Side curtains were not restored, but the frames were painted and are very nice and useable. The curtains themselves are rather fogged up, but would work in an unexpected downpour. The top has rarely seen the sun, except when it is washed, there may be a little fogging on it's window. The top is black canvas as is the tonneau cover and the spare tire cover. The brakes, brake lines, master cylinder, slave cylinders, carburators, hoses, etc. have all been either rebuilt or replaced with new. The spare tire has never been on the ground and the other tires have like new tread left. All the gauges work (except the clock, but it is correct twice a day). All in all it is a very nice driveable car that needs a new home. I feel that it is fairly priced and as you can see from the picture it shows very well.
