Complete with Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche, one of 423 built in this first year of production. Guards Red with black full leather interior, raised hub sport steering wheel, speedometer with 2 scales, Blaupunkt monterey cassette, Recaro sport seats R & L, cruise control, special black leather headliner, power sunroof, and M-491 wide body turbo look package.
The M491 option included much more than the wide "turbo look". It was in fact a 930, with the heavier underbody to handle the turbo suspension, and big brakes. It had instead, the normally aspirated engine, which was much more controlable for even the most agressive street driving!
Three meticulous owners have cared for this car since new, and they each deserve credit for keeping it in this remarkable condition. There have been few alterations from stock, and all are easily reversable, as we have a stock steering wheel, Blaupunkt radio, wheels, and exhaust on the shelf . If you prefer them, we can work it out, but personally, I really like it with the polished 18" Kinesis K-58's with the Potensa SO2-N2's, the B&B dual outlet muffler, the CD player, and Momo wheel! It looks and sounds like the Bad Boy it is............it's just too cool.
All the books, and every service record from new! Just 55k.miles,and it's just been freshly serviced up, with new inspection and emission certicication, and need of nothing, period. Check out the report below, it looks like the "Carfax poster child"!
Also, the spare tire, tire air compressor, light alloy jack, complete tool kit, plastic drop cloths, gloves, custom red sunbrella cloth car cover, dash cover, mirror covers and bra are in the trunk!
These wide body cars are the last of the 'bullet proof" Porsches, and this one's exceptionally fine.
